Let’s all shop locally this Black Friday and Small Business Saturday and embrace what makes our Vineyard community unique, We’ve gathered up some of our favorite ways to support your local businesses and artisans here:

World Market Holiday Pop-Up - Open until Christmas from 10 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. (NOV 11 - DEC 24) At the Capawock Theater, Vineyard Haven. Here, you’ll find handmade artisan products, art, textiles, dolls, jewelry, crafts, and more. Six organizations are working together this holiday season to inform the island about global empowerment initiatives and showcase the culturally rich art and crafts being produced by the talented artisans from around the world. Featherstone Center for the Arts Annual Holiday Gift Show – By appointment only daily from 12 – 4 p.m. until December 16th at Featherstone Center for the Arts, 30 Featherstone Lane, Oak Bluffs. Celebrate the holiday season while supporting island artists and Featherstone! The perfect holiday shopping destination with gifts for everyone (and yourself), including handmade creations including paintings, photography, pottery, crafts, jewelry, knitwear, clothing, purses, accessories, soaps, dog goods, ornaments, cards, calendars, and stocking stuffers. Buy local and support local artists all while supporting Featherstone as well. There’s an online reservation system making it really easy and it’s safe shopping with each half hour time slot limited to 12 visitors (you can reserve more than one slot if you’d like to stay beyond 30 minutes).

Martha's Vineyard Made – 29 Main St. in Vineyard Haven is an artist-owned collaborative with products all made locally by Vineyard makers. Every product is made with purpose, coming from farms and studios and sold with full support to the maker. Some of our favorite gifts include leather tree ornaments, beeswax pinecone candles, Island shaped cookie cutters, and children’s crocheted hats. High Five Healing Balm, Aunt Ollie's Soap, and Flat Point Farm make great stocking stuffers! Shop 30+ Island makers, and pay just one shipping cost. They also deliver on-island.

The Vineyard Artisans Thanksgiving Weekend Festival
November 26 and 27 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

At the Agricultural Hall, State Rd., West Tisbury.  
A great holiday art show by Islanders, featuring many holiday gifts such as one of a kind winter hand-made sweaters, hand-made soaps, Island lavender, and fine crafts including leather and vintage material bags, wood butcher block cutting boards, and so much more. The best part of coming to the Vineyard Artisan Festivals is meeting the artists and listening to how they love their art and enjoy making these beautiful gifts. Enjoy great food and live music. A $2.00 parking fee is charged and goes to support the Vineyard Artisans Scholarship Fund, which awards several scholarships to graduating MV High School students for studies in the Arts each year.
